Themes:
13 April - Artist Inspired Spaces. Immersive workshop. Children design and build their own miniature space inspired by the work of bold contemporary artists.
14 April - Alphabet Buildings. Letters inspired architecture! Children will learn about architectural projections (plans and sections), analyse building types, create their own letter inspired building, and build a 3D version of it's plan or section.
15 April - Runaway House. Inspired by Russian folk tales, Archigram's walking city, and Howl's Moving Castle by Hayao Miyazaki children will explore mobile architecture and design buildings that move, walk, play soccer and wonder about.
16 April - Architectural Hat. Children become architects of wearable structure, designing bold, sculptural hats inspired by iconic architecture and stand-out architects.

THEMES:
April 7 - Edible Adventures. Build it. Smash it. Taste it. A widely creative day to build tall towers, invent strange creatures, design edible landscapes, and experiment with delicious materials.
April 8 - 'Dessert' Builders. Claes Oldenburg inspired creations. Experiment with scale, colour, texture, and soft sculpture to create giant doughnuts, melting ice-creams, enormous cakes, and surreal sweet worlds.
April 9 - Familiar Faces. Inspired by the imaginative portraits of Giuseppe Arcimboldo, children will experiment with textiles, collage, sewing, plasticine, and clay to create playful characters and expressive faces. Nothing has to look 'correct' - the goal is to experiment, exaggerate, and have fun with faces.
April 10 - Inside Out City. Ideas inside children's minds become real buildings, streets and places. Creation of an imaginary city that grows throughout the day.

ARCHITECTURE & DESIGN studio (Y2/3-Y6)
In this progressive learning program, children will dive into the world of hands-on design, spatial thinking and problem-solving, creative drawing, physical modelling and construction while improving their skills in math, science, history, general knowledge, verbal and visual storytelling. NO SCREENS!
This course is fully curated by a professional architect with over 15y experience in international world renown practices.

Architecture and Design taught in the most unusual and fun way there is - using FOOD!
K & Stage 1 school children will explore the beginning of architectural science and will be challenged exceptionally by the unusual building materials for their physical models.
