Development from young age
Development of creative you starts from an early age. @the W.O.W. project we believe that learning is not about sitting down and repeating similar exercises over and over again, it is not about memorising. Learning is about discoveries, being engaged, questioning the world and meeting the aspects of yourself one might spend a long time searching for otherwise in traditional settings.
Come and find out that playing is the best form of learning. The latest scientific research suggests that sensory and messy play are crucial for the development of a young brain as more than a million neural connections form every second when activated. Give your little one the best chance in life without the stress that is associated with messy play at home.
Parents are welcome to any of our classes. We encourage this especially during the Super Sensory & Very Messy sessions. Bonding is supported through having fun together doing things you would love to be doing but would never dare to do at home! At least not to THAT extend!
We also have coffee and tea here + you are guaranteed to meet other families, form friendships at the space filled with joy, laughter and good times!

Super Sensory & Very Messy play sessions
This session is not your typical playgroup. This is a fully immersive ever-changing installation based open-ended sensory experience designed to ignite imaginations (both children & their caregivers) and engage all the senses! This studio is most suitable for kids 4 months-K or older! Drop offs are available for toilet trained & comfortable with the idea children.

Big Kids ARCHITECTURE studio
In this progressive learning program, kids ages 7–10 will dive into the world of hand on physical design (NO LEGO, NO SCREENS!), spatial thinking and problem-solving, creative drawing, paper modelling and construction while improving their skills in math, science, history, general knowledge, verbal and visual storytelling. This course is fully curated by a professional architect.
Tuesday and Thursday afternoons.
School 'train' from all Lane Cove schools is available at no extra cost!
Saturday afternoons coming at the end of August!

COMING SOON - BABIES PLAY studio
Let your baby experience the joy of sensory exploration in a play based supportive and social environment!
The sessions are designed and lead by a local Lane Cove mum Valentina, who has been growing the local community of happy babies and parents for over 3 years!
These sessions include a short music and movement group time followed by lots of taste safe messy fun and exploration with a range (new each week!) sensory experiences including water play, various sensory stations, light and shadow play and lots more!
Mothers group favourite!
It is ok if your baby cries, it is ok if you cry too! This is the place where you find mums and dads who know exactly what you are going through. The joy, the tears - all of it!
There is a galore of tees, coffees and biscuits too!
Ages 6-16 months welcome with up to two caregivers. Best suited to babies once they are crawling.
BRING A TOWEL AND CHANGE OF CLOTHES as these sessions are messy!!
